my dog chases the cat everyday and wont leave him alone both my dog and cat are indoor pets and the state I live in is too cold for my dog to be an outside dog ive tried using the term ahh ahh which is advised to use when your dog is doing something wrong in the Victoria Stillwell dog training book have that dosent seem to work ive tried distracting him with chew bones and dog toys that dosent work ive even tried spanking him which is wrong to do I know hes a big dog so when he does this I cant put him outside till he calms down or in another room because hes so strong im only 5 feet tall and he stands above my knees ... hes even hard for my mother to handle at times his previous owners said he had this problem with them im trying to figure out how to break this habit does someone know a method that I could use on my big dog that would be easy for me to do and will let him know if he chases the cat their will be consequences
