So they were originally being kept in a filthy 1 gallon that was 80 degrees and they were way overfed. I didn't like that so I put them into my 20 gallon (70 degrees) community tank with mollies. They seem to be doing okay, except the mollies don't particularly like them, and that's understandable because they have no sense of boundaries and they're so dirty I have to change the water all the time. I only have 2 other tanks and they are 5 gallons, which are way too small for the 2 goldfish, and I can't afford to spend any money right now on a bigger tank. No one will take them, I can't sell them... They seem to be healthy in the 20 gallon and the few mollies that are in there aren't aggressive towards them or anything. Will they be okay here for a year or two?
