We work at a dog kennel and also get daycare dogs. Basically we let all the dogs out of their rooms, clean up any messes (which are terrible sometimes) clean the pee from around the yard, pick up all the poop outside and inside, put all the dogs back in their rooms. Then we feed everyone and wait before starting that process all over again in an hour. In the meantime we take care of the daycare dogs, give baths, clean rooms, scrub floors, laundry, tons of cleaning, etc. The worst part has to be all the barking and messes. There's diarrhea, puking, going in crates and cages, dogs spilling water in their cages...All of this while getting scratched and sometimes bit by the dogs. We live in the south. What do you think is a fair hourly rate for this job?
