I have a small flock of five tetra tints. They never have slept outside in the summer and I is super cold. I have to pick them up and put them in the coop due to the high number of foxes and raccoon's. And I lock them in at night and let them out every Monsignor usually with a treat weather it be a handful of corn or etc. But three of the same have been trying to roost outside. They have plenty of room in the coop we have a coop that can hold around 20 chickens maybe a little more. As the coop came with the property and we basically redid the whole coop except the building. I checked the coop to make sure there was no cats or anything in there. The other two were not pleased to have me walk in there coop at night with a bright flash light. I put them in the coop and they went right up on the roost with the other girls and settled in. I haven't changed anything in the coop or there outside pen. Nothing is new. So why could they be doing this?
