Question: Bearded Dragon?

I have a question about my beardie, he's only about 3 months old. When I first got him he loved when I held him, he'd fall asleep in my hand and wouldn't run. I decided to get him a hammock because all beardies love them. Ever since I put the hammock in, anytime I try to get him out of the tank he runs away and then when I finally get him out he won't let me hold him, he runs off of my hand and will run anywhere he can to get away and when I go to get him he runs. I'm not sure if it's just him being stubborn now or what. One other question, is how many crickets should he be eating a day? Because I've seen different answers everywhere I look. Please help, I want my best friend back :(
