Question: How do I get my parents to stop feeding our dog table scraps (please read)?

My dog is severely overweight. We took him to the vet a few times and they said if he doesn't lose weight or continues to gain weight, he will die. They told my parents to stop feeding him table craps but they keep feeding him from the table. Today my mom only took a few bites out of her dinner and left it, then my dad gave the entire meal to the dog! They also buy and over feed him treats everyday and give him fattening scraps like bacon. I Walk him around the block twice a day when I can. With there being a lot of black ice on the street and me being after surgery, it's been complicated. I constantly call them out on it, but I always get slammed for "not walking him enough" I also tried to tell the vet what they're doing, but they denied it, so she obviously ended up on my parents side as almost every adult does for some stupid reason. What should I do! I'm so angry, hopeless, helpless and frustrated because no one listens to me! I love my dog and want him to be healthy enough to actually be able to run around and not have his life cut short
