Hello, here's the thing, recently I got a baby pet pig (a miniature one) and I am currently on the verge of giving up or not. I wanted to save its life and since I have no other pets I think I might give it a shot. The pig is around a month old , and I am concerned for its health. I instructed myself and know the basics of taking care of it but there has been some stuff going on that have me getting concerned. Before I went to the vet, I wanted to make sure these could be solved over the internet. First, I think my baby pig was not weaned properly and is currently suffering from depression. She is very lazy, she wont eat unless I try and open up her mouth, she will slump on the pillow and not move, and lastly when I place her on the ground she will run away and either hide or slump in some corner. Of course, she weeps when is being carried and I have been avoiding that. Secondly, she will suddenly start to shiver and sometimes after shivering she stands up and weeps a little, this is by far the thing that has me concerned the most. I place her around pillows and with a blanket yet she shivers, once she sneezed too. And not just shivers shivers but quite a lot as if shes in pain I dont know, it might be me. Either way, Why? Third thing is she has a small bump on her head, I can't recall if she had it when I first got her but I dont think a bump should be normal. If she's a month old, what food should I try? She won't eat much, therefore no poop or pee much. Please help!
