So, our puppies were all playing with a toy in which makes this weird wheezing noise when squeaked. I had seen the inside of these toys before and all there is inside is fluff and a small plastic ring. I assumed that they would be okay for a little while with their toys, so I left them alone for a little bit. I come back out, and the toy is in shreds. I had found all the pieces, including the little plastic ring. However, a few hours later after I take one of the puppies for a run, he starts wheezing like the toy! He eats and drinks just like before, but I am concerned about the noise which comes and goes. He is an 8 month old black lab mix, should I be taking him to the vet? Could this be a different, unrelated issue that he has developed since being outside more?
