Question: Did my dog re-tear his ACL?

So obviously no one can diagnose over the internet and the best course of action is to go to the vet, but I have no money and I'm losing my mind over this. My dog tore his ACL in September and had the lateral suture. His recovery was going very well, and at the 15 week mark, he was no longer limping and I figured it would be alright to take him to the park. (They said he'd be fine at 12 weeks.) He's and older dog, so when he goes to the park, he doesn't go tearing across the field or get into crazy play stances with other dogs; he mostly just trots around at an intermediate pace and sniffs stuff. So anyway, he was just jogging around and suddenly he started limping again badly. I immediately took him home, and after a day or two, he began weight bearing on the leg and taking normal steps again. This was 10 days ago and it's obvious there's still some pain there, but he's 80% better than he was when this happened, and I'd say 90% better than with the initial tear. It's encouraging that he's walking on it, but I have no idea what's going on or how much pain he's in, and I can't find jack sh*t on Google about re-tears or re-injuries of the same leg. I read though that it could be a meniscus tear, which apparently isn't as serious, but I'm terrified the sutures failed and I'll have to put him through all that again. Any ideas on what could be going on?
