Question: Dog won't eat any the healthy brands only trash food?

I bought a pure bred Lhasa recently and the seller said they where feeding the puppy eukanuba so I bought a bag but he wasn't rely eating, he would push it around or only eat a tiny bit, wasn't sure if it was just him but some one gave me some clearance junk food they didn't even know what it was it was just cheap and he ate it like a starving dog.... I don't want him eating garbage tho so I went to the pet store and got some blue buffalo the best I know and what they recommended but yet again it seems like he will get excited for food see the food sniff it and then just walk away.. I just don't understand, its like the dogs determined eat dollar tree dog poison only... Vary frustrating
