Question: My drift wood won't stop leaking tannin into my fish tank?

I have a 20 gal planted tank and I found this driftwood near my house, I boiled it twice for about 1.5 hours and soaked it completely under water for about a week and it stopped leaking tannin. So when I put it in my tank there was no tannin for about 3-4 days until the next day when there's lots of tannin in my tank and it is been like that for about 4-5 weeks. For the past week or two I've been doing a 25-30 percent water change every day and it is still a dark brownish color. Anyone know how to get rid of it without ruining plants.
