So I met someone the other day who had two thirty gallon tanks for sale. One comes with a stand, heater and filter, the other is just the tank and both need cleaning but are in good condition. She's the nurse who comes to help care for my grandpa, and she told me about them and said to make an offer. I told her used tanks don't go for much, you usually make a fraction back on what you spent on them....but I don't know what to offer for them. What's a good price to pay for them, do you think? Age unknown, she has had them in her basement for several years. I like this woman, she's a sweetie and takes good care of my pa. So I want a fair price to offer, but I honestly don't know what that'd be. I got a 55 gal a couple years ago, stand and everything for it but for a used tank that took a ton of work to fix with a broken door on the stand, I over-paid A TON(so I was told afterwards, by many people but I just have no clue what is fair for a nice little tank like that and I don't want to offend), which was about $120.
