She moved and cant have the cat so she shipped him air cargo from Pasadena to Denver. I feel he has never liked me, hissing and clawing at me. I've been sweet talking him and he let me hold him briefly the first day. I keep him in a bedroom with the door shut since I have two other cats, but he's been hiding in the closet ever since.Now he's like he used to be ten years ago when I got him. I'm sad and was afraid this would happen. How can I get him to warm up to me and when should I introduce the other two cats? He is eating and using the litter box just fine. My daughter says he comes up for affection when he wants it, so I'll leave him alone even though it makes me sad. I wanted him to go with someone he has a good relationship with but it didnt happen. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
