Last week one of the stray cat near our house gave birth to 5 kittens inside a factory in a tractor and when I heard that kittens shouting I brought all of them along with the mom to our house, and gave her place in our balcony. She is staying their since a month & we used to feed her. Yesterday I got to know that she is carrying her kittens back to the factory, among 5 kittens 2 were already taken and remaining 3 were about to. Last night I was sleeping in my bed room and around 2 AM I heard one of the kitten screaming, (It was the last kitten to be shifted) I thought the kitten is in factory and shouting for her mom. I ignored the situation. And after few minutes I got up when my dad was shouting behind the stray dogs, he asked me to go down to the street fast, when I got down to the street I saw one of her kitten is surrounded with blood and it was big shock for me to see that the dogs have killed. I think the reason behind her changing the place is, my dad used to visit every morning to the balcony and there was light and it was noisy, she doesn't allow anyone near her kittens. We also have 2 cats one male and female, she fights with my female cat and she is friendly with my male cat. My male cat was observing her kittens few days ago and she was attacking him, I saw this for the 1st time and from then we did not allow any of our cats near her. I am thinking about just a week old baby was killed brutally for no reason. Please suggest me how to overcome my sadness. Since then I am unable to eat, sleep or do anything properly. Its disturbing me every time. And also I got to know that among 4 kittens to be present in the factory, only 3 are there and 1 more missing. I searched near by home and I could not find out where is 1 more. Thanks. Hoping to receive response.
