so lately my dog has been growling at ME, my HUSBAND, and the Cat! The cat is always up in his business and has never been a problem... well I bought my dog wet dog food and a bone (because he loves them) and he growled at the cat when he came close...he's never done that before... the cat is always by his food and water... My dog has been ignoring my commands and does what ever he wants lately... and when I punish him or yell he growls at me... Just now he growled at the cat....again.... and my husband punished him and he growled at my husband!!!!!! He has shown his teeth at me once... PLEASE HELP! idk what to do anymore... This isn't like him!!!! Idk if he's just frustrated because he has to wear a cone (he keeps scratching and leaving scabs on his head... I'm currently trying to treat it) or just jealous of the cat...or just wanting domanice... He's a chow mix... idk if that means anything... He's never been this way... it all started recently... :( I'm sad and want to be able to give him the things to make him happy... but I have to keep correcting him or punishing him by taking the food or toys away or put him in his crate.
