Question: Why are my cory catfish dead?

I have had four grown panda cory catfish for about a year now, so about three and a half weeks ago, I went and bought two more. These cory catfish were smaller, but for three weeks they did fine in my tank. Then, two days ago i found one of them dead and sitting on the bottom. The other new catfish appeared to be doing perfectly well though, until today, two days later I found it dead too. This is a mystery to me. They were both doing fine until i found them dead. What could have gone wrong? Other tank mates include harlequin rasbora, neon tetra and dwarf gouarmi.
