so my cat keeps peeing on my stove and countertops. she is estimated to be around 8 years old and an indoor cat only. the cat box is clean for her to go, but at nighttime she sleeps in my room and i shut the door. around 4 or 5 she meows so i let her out and she runs and pees. i don't know how to prevent this.. she refuses to go outdoors. and sometimes i don't notice the pee and so i want to boil something on the stove and it burns the pee and it stinks so horribly. one of the worst smells I've ever encountered. she is well fed and loved. but my other cat had a litter of kittens. do you think she is jealous? or just upset about the new cats? please help, this is a big problem and it very stressful to wake up to pee all over my counter and/or stove.
