I have a female betta with minnows, minnows, cory catfish, and shrimp. I'm assuming that it wouldn't hurt them if they ate bottom feeder pellets or algae wafers, but would it effect any of my fish. Right now I don't have a food that all of my fish could eat, so when I feed my minnows the betta might eat some goldfish food. I feed the betta separately when the minnows are 'relaxing' in their corner with no problems. I can't take the fish out and then put it back in every time. Will it harm my female betta if she eats a small amount of goldfish food? Will it harm my other fish, which are goldfish, minnows ,and bettas (not all kept together), if they eat bottom feeder pellets and algae wafers?
