I have a 4 month old pitbull puppy that hurt her leg this morning but it was only a sprain. I had wrapped the leg to keep it stable but I am wondering if I need to have her slowly start to walk on it a few times during the day. Whenever I had sprained something my mother always told me to use it to help it heel. She doesn't want to cause it obviously hurts but she just lay there and if she has to use the bathroom she just pees while laying down and lays in it because she doesn't want to move. She was also sick yesterday but she is better now. What can I do for her to ease the pain and make a quick recovery for her?
