So i have a baby beardie at school and hes been quite the delight to have around so far.. I feed him as many crickets as he will eat in a day (30+), keep him properly heated and he even eats his greens! I built his enclosure (36x18x18) and all seems to be going well with it after ~3 weeks. The problem I can forsee is that I will eventually need to go home for break, which is roughly a week. Clearly I plan to bring the little guy home with me, but bringing his whole enclosure would be quite cumbersome. Not to mention I am not supposed to have him in my dorm, so I am trying to avoid carrying the enclosure around unless i need to. I have a small aquarium at home, and my beardie is still very small.. for the short periods of time I go home, is it okay to just bring the beardie and put him in the smaller tank at home? I would obviously bring all the necessities, I just want to know if it would stress him out too much. I can bring his entire enclosure home if its necessary.
