Before you come out with "Landseer is a COLOR of Newfoundland!" -- there is indeed a separate breed - taller, longer legs, smaller head, less deep chest - this is the Landseer. My question is to anyone who may know anything about Landseers. I have had newfies in the past and they are my favorite breed because of their temperament. However, I have recently discovered the Landseer and I think they are beautiful. I have heard that they are more energetic though? I am just trying to find out what "more energetic" means. Part of why I love newfies is that they are so coolheaded and stoic. I want to know if Landseers are also calm and coolheaded, and are just a bit more agile? Or if they really are less quiet and more similar to that of, say, a Labrador.
