Hi, before I start I want to tell you a little about my dog. She's a chihuahua and is around 16 years old (I believe) we got her before I was born (14 yrs ago) and she's been there my entire life. From her comforting me when I've been stressed to her being there all the time. I've even been grounded several times for taking her out of her cage when I wasn't suppose to. Everyone in my neighborhood knows her and they even have stories to share. These include her chasing them for fun and me walking her door to door showing her off. I love this dog and I'd be depressed forever if she wasn't here. I even made a "contract" when I was smaller, saying that if my parents signed it then I'd have legal ownership of her, although I lost the paper. I'd die to have it now :(. Before I went on a week vacation she was fine, but now that I've returned the first day I got back it seemed like she didn't know who I was. Then just earlier I checked on her and she was so skinny. I don't know what to do with myself if she passes. She was and still is everything to me and is the first dog I've ever had. Does anyone have advice for me to cope if she passes?
