First off, my dog is a little white shihzhu/Maltese mix that I rescued from te shelter. The first 2 years I had him he was great except he had separation axiety and hated dogs bigger than him and would try to pick fights with Great Danes and all but other than that he was just my little ball of joy! But the last few months or so his seperation anxiety has gotten even worse and he will chew on his metal crate until his mouth bleeds and he gets blood all over my carpet, I have taken him to vet to check if he got seriously injured and he didn't so don't worry, and he has always been great about staying in my yard when I let him out so I don't worry, not until he decided to try to walk across te road and almost got hit. So now I always put him on a leash and walk him, and he slips out sometimes and starts to chase my neighbors dog every chance he gets and he seems like he is so depressed lately he will just walk with his tail down and I just don't know what to do to help I've looked up things and tryed them but it never worked out and he has just been driving me crazy and I'm tired of him messing my house up so if you have any suggestions on how to help please comment. :)
