I'm 16 years old and I live with my mom and stepdad. My lab died about a year ago, and I took it hard, but now I'm opening up to the idea of another dog. I have 2 chihuahuas that have completely bonded with my parents. My brother is leaving for college so I really want a dog I can just hang out with now. I'm only worried about school and what the puppy will do at home (parents work) and in 3 years I will be going to college, (what will I do then?) I can drive so I can come home after school, but in the fall I play a sport, which would have me coming home at 6:00. Should I wait until after the fall so I can spend the winter, sping, and summer to train so I can leave him outside to play while I'm gone? My mom comes home from work at like 3:30 thou. Let me know. I'm very responsible and I want my dog to be happy and have a great home, this is why I am hesitant. Thanks in advanced.
