We recently adopted a 5 year old dog and the previous owners said this was a fatty tumor and she's had it since she was 1. I don't know how to explain it but when I grip the bump it feels semi squishy and on top of the skin. I'll be bringing her to the vet next week but I was curious of what it could be? Am I over thinking? They showed us pictures of her when she was younger and the bump seemed to be there. I can't take her to the vet until next week because I'm currently in a different state. Since she's had it so long it can't be a deadly type of cancer right? Yes I know most of you will say bring her to the vet, only a vetinarian can diagnose it. Which I will be doing but if anyone that's had a dog with fatty tumors could tell me if the bump is similar? Thank you.
