Ok, so we come home to see our hamster not moving, but shaking. She was bundled under her bedding shivering, and the shivers were not small, and they were not necessarily shivers, but more like twitches, and wasnt moving, eating, or drinking. We grab her and put her in a paper towel infront of a heater. (It was really cold that day, and im assuming she became like this because it was cold) After a few minutes she continues to twitch, then starts bleeding in the nose area. She then starts gasping for air, or seems like it, and starts bleeding more. (it looked like she was yawning, because her mouth opened REALLY wide) The next thing we know, she grasps for air one more time, and dies with her eyes open. What happened? Why did she die? Also, we noticed her nose was brownish/blackish on each side, which was a different color from her the usual pinkish color and her body was cold. And, I dont think she had wet tail, because her tail/ bottom area was not wet. So what happened? Whats the cause?
