I'm getting an iguana in a week or so, and currently in the process of building her a large cage. It has a PVC frame, and will be all solid walls besides a 2ft section or so that will be covered with plastic mesh, and the small areas of metal mesh that will be where the top lights sit. I need help with some tips on how to keep the cage warm. My room gets very cold at night. Like 60 degrees! And during the day, around 70. I plan on putting a basking light and UVB on the top of the cage, but what else can I do to keep her cage warm/hot?? And does it seem like I am making her Cage correctly? She will have 3-4 shelves, with climbing branches. I will also include a water dish, and a large-ish soaking tub for her. The cage measures 5ft x 4ft 3in x 3ft 3in. (Dont ask why extra 3inches lol) Also, will a 2 foot section of plastic mesh be enough space for fog (of a humidifier) to escape? I don't want fog building up in my cage. Any other tips on housing and care are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
