how do i get over the death of my hamster?

He was black and white short haired teddy bear hamster. He was going to be 3 years old in Febuary. He died this morning and i have been away from my room all day scince his death because every time i look at where his cage was i start crying or if i think of when i found out he died even though i told myself i could handle this because i knew he was going to die soon. when i found out i could not control myself and i started crying im crying as i write this And i have not been able to bury him because where i live the ground i frozen
