I have a 14 year old cat that pees right outside the box everyday several times like 4 or 5. I have a hard time cleaning it up each and everytime. It takes a lot of my free time away from my son that begs for attention but mommy is usually in the cat room cleaning every free moment. Not much time to cook or clean anything else it seems. Rest of my time I work and sleep normal hours. How do people keep up or do they just accept the pee and poop all over the house. That is what I read and am amazed. I have been researching this issue for 4 days trying to figure out what I can do to help us. I mean the people I have been reading about do what they can but basically live with the pee or poop and accept the cat out of love since they also can not find a solution. . I do have 4 litter uncovered litter boxes in the room on plastic office mats. All clumping clay litter. One of them Dr Elsey's cat attract springled over Dr. Elseys litter. Still continues to pee outside.
