My dog has a lump ..?

I know you guys are going to tell me to take her to the vet , but I just need opinions before I stress to much .. I have a three year old , spayed , great Dane . I noticed a few months ago she had a lump on her thigh and showed it to my mom and she said it might just be a cyst . But I noticed it again today and its gotten quite hard and its gotten bigger . Its under her hair/skin and its actually rather noticeable .. This dog is like a child to me and if this is a tumor or cancer , I might just go crazy . I know there are things you can do for it , but that doesn't mean it stops them from appearing .. Please leave opinions .. I'm a worried momma Dane . It doesn't seem to hurt her and it's not huge . Just .. Bigger than small . You know ? She still does everything like she usually does . Nothing in her everyday life has changed ...
