In my family home we have 4 dogs and 2 cats. One of the cats is 9 years old and we have had him from a kitten. A year ago I bought a kitten and he settled in well; considering Jasper was already 8, he accepted him pretty quickly. They still have occasional scraps and never sleep together, but rather seem to just tolerate one another. Anyway my cat is closely attached to me, amd in Sept I left for uni. I live in halls this year so couldn't take him. Next year I will be renting a room in a house. Most student places don't accept pets, so I'm not even going to ask them about pets and move him up anyway;if they complain I'd bring him back. I pay for his vet plan and insurance and he is neutered and chipped. I am home for Christmas and my cat sleeps in my room with me every night and purrs when I hold him. I went out this evening andwhen I got in (late) he was waiting to go upstairs with me (he can actually open doors!) What is your opinion on taking him with me next year?
