My shih tzu's previous owner used to put booties on her and forgot to mention it to me. One day i noticed her licking her paw and a clear band on her leg. I didnt know what it was before and asked the vet but she did not know either so she prescribed her oral antibiotics. Although her paw feels normal her paw now has a bump where the rubberband used to be and at times it opens a small cut but because she licks it sometimes. I don't know if there was more than one rubberband. Is it possible the skin grew around the rubberband?
