I have three cats, Isabelle, Max, and Cheddar. We got Isabelle after we lost our two cats Chester and Raven. She is a calico, and we got her from an animal kennel when she was on the verge of death from not eating. We helped her regain her health. I named her Isabelle because nobody could think of a good name. We got Max from craigslist because we'd always had two cats. My parents said we could only get another cat if it were fixed and de-clawed. My sister scoured the Internet until she found him. He's black and white, and was named Max because nobody could think of a good name and we gave up and named him Max. We got Cheddar very recently, in the June of 2013. He was a month old kitten. My sister went to South Carolina to a beach, and she found him in a litter of kittens and brought him home, without telling my parents. He was named Cheddar because he is an orange tabby, like our previous cat Chester. See? Chester, Cheddar? He was named after Chester. My cats aside, what are the names of your cats, and how did you come up with that name? I'd love to know!
