Ok, we rescued a puppy, we are going to take him to the vet, but I just want a second opinion/piece of mind until we get him in. Benji is 6 weeks old. We rescued him. He had roundworms for a little while but has been dewormed. Since we got him last week, he has had a bald, crusty patch on his chest right under his neck. It seems to make him itchy once in a while but not incessantly. He also has a few pale/bald crusty bumps; one on his muzzle, a few on his legs. They may be related to the patch on his chest but I can't tell. He has no redness or swelling, and I've checked him for fleas and ticks several times and saw nothing. If I lightly brush his stomach though, occasionally he acts like I'm making him itch like crazy. He also has thinning hair around his eyes, a patch of thinning hair on each ear, and around his mouth. Is it perhaps dry skin from the roundworm infestation that he simply itched into scabs? Any thoughts? Thanks!
