We just breed our 5 year old female Siberian husky for the first time. It has been 18 days and I have been doing research on dog breeding. My only questions are: When is the best time to tell if she is pregnant? And what are the best signs to know she is? Before anyone starts yelling about how I have no business breeding my dog when there are so many homeless dogs out there, I KNOW. I VOLUNTEER AT A SHELTER! My only reasons for breeding her are 1) she is the last from her litter of 7 who can breed, 2) and she has amazing bloodlines that deserve to continue. After this one breeding we ARE getting her fixed and she will live the rest of her life running around as a happy healthy dog. AND I have consulted two professional husky breeders, and a local vet. Please help me! I want to ensure that everything goes well!
