I just found my barrel horse with her heel cut open. She was in the pasture and must have cut it on something or my other mare was bullying her and cut it open some how. I put vetrisin on the cut and put a powder on it made for horse cuts but forgot what it's called now but anyway, I have a rodeo next Saturday and need to know how long it will Take till it heals. It's not bleeding bleeding but there is some but it's not gushing. it's maybe 1 or 2 inches deep but it's not too oddly bad. I feel stupid for saying this but could she possibly be healed by then? If not what's the fastest way to heal it? Thanks, Shay:) P.s. she isn't a stalled horse, we don't have a barn yet so I can't stall her up. Should I wrap it or not?
