I have a pregnant cat that is due any day now. She is lactating heavily and looks like she swollowed a volleyball. She is HUGE. Last night around 11:00 her temp was 100.4 F. She was having small contractions that were infrequent and weren't cordinated (have one wait 10 minuets have another 30 minuets later have another) But she was still eating. Today around 4:00pm still no kittens. She is refusing food (even tuna which is notice her) and nesting but her temp has gone back up to 101.7 F. Still very infrequent contractions. No dishcharge or trying to push ect. I called the vet but he was busy and the secretary dude wasn't much help and didn't really give me a definate answer... Any suggestions? She isn't ill acting or anything that has me overly concerned but still I am confused. (Yes she will be spayed)
