I recently took in a puppy. He is a yorkie and has a clean bill of health from the vet. He is 10 weeks old and we are working on potty training of course. He is really good with his pee pad, but only if he is confined in his little fenced in area inside. If left to roam free he will tinkle everywhere regardless if he just went. I have a baby so this is not good. I take him out regularly, but hen he isnt outside he just whines and whine the whole time. Unless he is asleep he is whining. Even when I have him with me giving him attention he is whining. He is full of energy as a puppy normally is , but when I take him outside, all he wants to do is bite at my feet. I am working on this biting thing with him, but he just wont run his energy off. Earlier, I took him out on his leash and he just sat there and I practically had to drag him to walk him. We get back inside and he whines immediately, so can someone please advise on some tips to get this going in the right direction. Btw I have all day with him and he is never left alone unless my family goes to the store. He has plenty of room to play in his gated area, toys, a soft bed. Thanks!!!
