Hi. So I have a female and a male mouse. The first day I put them together, the male went crazy and started trying to mate with the female. She did not want it but then she allowed it the second day. I thought she was pregnant because she started to get a belly. Its been about 7 days since they mated and she started nesting and gaining weight(at least thats what it looks like). But then I finally weighed her after 7 days and she is 50 grams and 1.5 ounces. If she was pregnant wouldn't she weigh more? I saw weight charts of pregnant mice and it said they started at around 10 ounces. My second question is why is the male not wanting to mate with her anymore. The first two days he wanted to. Now every time I put them together they just ignore each other or groom each other. Would he not mate with her if she is pregnant? Please explain to me why this could be. Thank you!
