guinea pig with mites?

okay, now i am pretty positive my guinea pig has mites or at least some sort of skin problem. so it all started one day when i was petting my guinea pig and i noticed that she had 3 clumps of hair that came out and on top there was a scabby black thing as if it was holding it. Her fur is really crusty on there and it looks irritated. then one day, i was running my fingers to see what else my piggie has and guess what? I found a little red scab so i studied it for a while until i decided to take her to the vet. I did and it was a free checkup but they didnt help for long because they were closing so they told me to keep an ye on her. I did but the scab just got bigger. then one day the scab fell of and i thought that I was just seeing things but then I looked all over her body ( literly all over) and it was gone. she actully had two of those scabs but the other one was still really tiny and is still not going to fall out yet. She still has those hair clumps but the scabs are going away. I am taking her to the vet since I have lots of time this winter break. In a matter of a fact, I scheduled one. And I know that yes iam getting her ivemectin if she does have mites or mange. And yes I do know that u have to weigh your piggie before the dosage or else if u put to much its going to be a problem. All i want to know from u guys is if u think she does have mites and if your guinea pig ever had mites and what u did. thank u for all your help and have a happy jolly holiday. oh sorry i meant eye on her
