My cat Blaise was taken to the vet on December 10th for a small Urethral Obstruction, which was easily removed without a catheter and he was sent back home to us on the 12th. When he came home he was having trouble eating and using the litter box, but we've finally got him back to eating and acting normal. My question is this: My cat has been acting completely normal. He eats all of his food, and he lays around the house like normal.. but he is still only peeing in tiny amounts. Is this a normal step in their healing process? He finished his antibiotic and everything. Also his urinalysis came back completely normal, so did his blood work. (Aside from being a little dehydrated when he wasn't eating). Oh and just to say.. I'm not being a cheap or bad pet owner for not rushing him back to the vet. I just payed over $1000 to get his treatment last week and it'd be impossible for me to afford taking him again.
