She is a 11 month old pit bull bully. We were taking care of her for our friends for a couple days. Within the first couple days we woke up and our male pit was locked up with her (breeding).1: didnt know she was in heat and neither did they. 2: this was her first heat cycle. 3: we couldnt pull them apart because it could hurt them both. So we just stayed there and tried to keep them calm. She kept pulling away from us, trying to roll over, bite him, bite us. We tried to keep her standing there and not really move but it didnt work. Ive never seen a dog react the way she did. Anyways, after they unlocked she couldnt use her back legs. We took her to the vet. He gave her a shot that was a pain reliever but she didnt act like she was in any pain. She started standing on her feet but her toes were curled under. He said it could possibly be nerve damage. Someone else said she broke her pelvis. We dont know what it is. And now we are seeing blood in her solid stool. Can someone help?
