ok so my tank is a juwel rio 180 been up for 4 years, ph is around 7.4. since the start of the year I bought 8 tiger barbs and until now I am now down to 4 with 1 about to part ways. ever since I got these tiger barbs they have all been dying this certain way, there body becomes skinny and they face/gills puff up and they just float around the top, ive been looking for answers everywhere but I can't find out what the actual problem is and therefore can't do anything. the other fish in my tank are fine it's just I've kept tiger barbs in the past and they were fine but the 8 I got so far 5 have been affected by this thing whatever it is. each has died in the space of 1-2 months and im just here scratching my head. maybe it was a bad batch of tiger barbs I don't know??
