The cage is about 2-3 inches deep at the bottom would that be deep enough to burrow in the bedding? It's bigger than it looks, also added a little wood house inside and there is a little nesting area at the top through the tunnels. and yes these will be "kids pets" but I will be caring for them also so just save the lectures, I know how to take care of animals and my kids.
