My dog when she was younger liked kids, was good around kids. She is about to be 6 and when she turned 5 she just stopped being "good" around kids. She literally will try to bite them if they come near her. She will growl. I don't know what it is. I have had her around well behaved kids too, to get her to try and be nice but she is turning into an old gumpy lady. My 5 year old German Shep on the other hand is amazing around kids and so sweet. I think she changed after my friend's child came over one time and I told them NOT to run at her etc and they continued to do it, UNTIL she went at them. After that she assumes all kids are bad. I even took her to a trainer and had one come over. What can I do to help with this??? Since behaved kids don't work etc.
