I got a mosquito fish unfortunately in a 2 liter bottle. I bought it a tank. I know that it had been with males before but the woman I got it from said it was a male but it has a black spot on it's lower belly and it's belly has dropped down in the last three weeks. If it's pregnant I know they eat their babies so how can I prevent that if I leave for work early and get home late? Also if she has boy baby fishes will they breed with her and their sisters? How would I be able to prevent that? How many babies will she have? How will I know when she will have the babies and how do baby mosquito fish survive in the wild without their mother eating them?
