Question: German shepherd dog info?

Ok you German shepherd owners out there I need help. I might be getting a gsd soon and I need to know the most important things about this breed. I have done lots of research and I've found out that they are protective loyal and great dogs. If you have any info you think I need to know about this breed PLEASE tell. I need to know if they will be good around live stock and children and other dogs . I already know I have to socialize them and that will be done. But please tell me anything I need to know before owning a German shepherd. Thank all you guys
