My dog who is 6 month old comes dashing to me even if someone else is holding the leash or if he is offleash when i call him but it only happens when im not in his sight or if im too far away. Or else he wont even come near me with the fear of being leashed again when hes near me. But he follows beside me when i walk and goes exploring when i stop walking. Also once when some stray dogs tried to attack him when he was 4 the leash ripped and he ran home and was there before me. So if he suppose runs away will he come back home or in a dangerous or delicate situation will he come when i call him. Like he usually is aloof with people he doesnt know or even know and avoids them. But if they look threatening he tries to attack them or bark like this one time off leash he tried to attack these two men walking our direction even after i warned them. I had to throw rocks to distract him.
