Our spoiled Rex mix is 11 weeks old, she has free range of our entire house but seemed to be needing a friend (our pit bull is too scared of her to play) so when my neighbor brought home a baby new Zealand white n her husband said no I took him so he could avoid the shelter. During their first introduction the older rabbit (female) immediately tried humping the new bunny (don't know sex) who tried at first to run away but stopped. Now the older rabbit will groom the younger and lay next to him/her and rubs her chin on him/her any chance she gets. He/she takes it, shows no agression or dominance in return, but if he moves she chases him/her until he/she runs to me to borrow and hide under my arm. Is this bonding going well or not so much?
