i have two fully grown, very pissy cats that don't like change, and two energetic bloodhound puppies that are over 100 lbs. i want them to be able to roam the house without tearing anything up, but the main focus is getting them to leave the cats alone. we sent them to obedience school where they were trained on shock collars, but obviously they're not on the collars all the time with us. the problem is that they're complete angels with the collars on, and then they start misbehaving when they're off. they love to chase the cats, and the will start peeing on things the day we start trying to have them roam the house. how can i get them to not chew or tear anything up, and leave the cats alone without their shock collars? also, how do i get the cats to not pee on shit because they're pissed off? they're my mom's dogs, and i'm leaving for college soon, but i'm in charge of training them because she's too small to handle them. they're 15 months old, so they're still very young, but they're huge! getting rid of them is not an option, because they're also guard dogs which is something we are in dire need of. the cats are about 6 or so if that helps
